TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED FOR EVALUATION

The annual HOPE Honors Program is the premiere activity for the Hispanic Organization for Progress and Education. Through this event, the HOPE organization, along with the Cheyenne community, proudly recognizes the accomplishments, advancements, and triumphs — small and large — of Hispanic students in Cheyenne. Pre-school through twelfth grade students are selected and recognized as HOPE Stars, highlighting HOPE’s commitment to excellence in education, the HOPETeacher of the Year” also is recognized at this time. This truly is a time to celebrate!

HOPE Stars — are students, who have been nominated by teachers for their individual accomplishments during the school year. Some are honor students. Many are good citizens and have made positive contributions to their schools and community. Others are persevering, in spite of overwhelming odds. Since its inception the number of students honored each year as HOPE Stars grows. Selection as a HOPE Star is noteworthy. Academic success is a goal for our Hispanic students.
